WW1 1914-15 Star & Victory MedalTo- 14069.PTE.J.FERGUSON.K.O.S.BJohn Ferguson was born, enlisted & lived in Paisley, Renfrewshire. He first landed in France 9-7-1915 serving with the 7th battalion of the Royal Scots. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 25-9-15 on the first day of the battle of Loos. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Loos memorial & is recorded by the CWGC as the late 21 year old son of Mrs. Ferguson of 53 Springbank Road, Paisley.GVF or better & complete with MIC details along with details from both SDGW & the CWGC
