WW1 1914 STAR TRIO, ROYAL MARINE BRIGADE / R.M.A FROM BELFAST, DIED AGE 96

WW1 1914 Star TrioTo- R.M.A.3434.GUNNER.R.ASH.R.M.BRIGADE &R.M.A.3434.GR.R.ASH (on the pair)Robert Ash was born in Belfast 1865 & enlisted in to the Royal Marine Artillery in London 1887. He was invalided from the service in 1907 but recalled on the outbreak of WW1. He served at Ostend from 27th TO 31st of August 1914 & was finally discharged to a pension in 1919. He died in January 1962 age 96.
