WW1 1914 Star TrioTo- 9577.PTE.A.WATSON.2/HIGH.L.IAlexander Watson from Leith enlisted in to the Highland Light Infantry 6-10-1904 & first landed in France 14-8-1914 serving with the 2nd battalion. He was wounded in France 29-10-1914 when he received gun shot wounds to his head & right forearm. He went on to be discharged with a silver war badge due to his wounds 26-7-1915.He is obviously entitled to the August to November clasp for the ribbon of his 1914 star. He however never bothered to claim it.GVF or better & complete with MIC details. Along with silver war badge roll & casualty roll details.
