Gebirgsjäger Steirische 'Styrian' Gamaschen Gaiters Size II

Original unissued GebirgsjägerSteirischeGamaschen. These have some storage wear and the leather laces are dry and broken in a few places. There is an R.B.Nr. marking but its too faded to make out with any confidence. The Gr. II marking is clear enough. Although these are unissued, they have a patina to them that makes them look a bit salty although still much nicer than many examples. The hardware on these is rarely if ever coated in any way and is often rusty, but these are still rather clean and nice.These are out of my private collection, I have had them close to 20 years and paid pretty much what I am charging now. I will probably regret letting them go but the only way to know for sure is to try. I am assuming I will eventually find another pair someday.
