Japanese WWII, Type 30 Bayonet, Kokura Arsenal

Original period manufacture. A very clean example with a hooked guard, contoured wood grips with a bright finished blade, and rounded bird head pommel.The blade is bright and clean with clear markings, mix of blue and steel patina finish to the hooked guard and pommel. Original finish wooden grips, displaying typical marring to the surface.Mix of blue finish and light surface corrosion to the steels scabbard. There are a few, very shallow dents in the surface, more felt than seen.
