A silver, three piece medal as worn by a veteran ofCo K, 35th Mass Volunteers, 2nd Brigade, 9th Corps.The medal has been re-ribboned by a modern collector, however the metal components are quite sound. It is not named to the individual.The 35th Massachusetts served in both the Eastern and Western Theaters of the war, seeing service at the Siege of Vicksburg, and many of the famous battles in the East, Wilderness, Spotsylvania Court House to name but a few.
