US Current Era, Black Jack, Trail Guide Hunting Knife, A-2 Tool Steel

Original era manufacture. This is a very well made knife, which came to us through a large collection of swords, bayonets and knives we purchased almost three years ago.The knife features a 4.25 inch steel blade with numerous markings on each side. Simple brass guard, beautiful carved wood handle, with a polished aluminum pommel with securing nut.The blade is in very clean condition, I do not believe it was ever used, with original polish in evidence on each side of the blade. The only comment being some thin scratches in the surface at the left side edge.Original leather sheath in near new condition, just displaying storage and handling wear.
