Waffen-SS Belt & Buckle - 'O&C'

This is a nice early nickel-silver Waffen-SS EM/NCO's Belt & Buckle (Koppel mit Koppelschloß). This is an early (circa 1932-1934) die stamped, solid nickel/silver construction, box belt buckle. The buckle features a smooth background with a high relief, embossed SS style national eagle surrounded by the script 'Meine Ehre heißt Treue!' (My Honour is Loyalty!). On the reverse, the buckle is nicely maker marked with the stamped initials 'O&C', indicating production by the company of 'Overhoff & Cie' from Lüdenscheid, and the buckle is marked with 'ges. gesch.'. The buckle is in good used condition showing some age patina. The buckle comes together with its original leather belt as found together. The 92cms long sized leather belt looks to be dated 1937. Nice original set in good used condition!
