WH (Heer) Gascape in Pouch

Wehrmacht (Heer) Gascape in rubberized Pouch (Gasplane in Tasche). The shoulder sling of the gas mask was put through two loops at the rear of the pouch, and the pouch was worn on the chest. This method proved not to be very practical. During the war a frequent way of wear was to fasten the pouch around the gas mask canister. The gascape is made of waxed paper and nicely maker marked 'agd' and dated 1941. The rubberized grey coloured pouch is nicely maker marked and dated 1942. Nice original set in good used condition!
