Waffen-SS M42 SD Combat Helmet

Waffen-SS M42 Single Decal Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M42). The steel construction M42 helmet retains most of its rough textured, field-grey paint and about 85% of its 'C.A. Pocher' type SS decal. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is a M31 leather liner, the liner is in good used condition and complete with its origina liner cord. A nice dome stamp is visible inside the shell. The shell is marked with maker and size 'ckl64' which indicates production by the company 'Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG' in Thale/Harz. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number '3922'. The helmet is complete with its original 1944 dated chinstrap, see photos. The helmet comes with a Certificate of Authenticity by 'Kelly Hicks'. Nice helmet in good used condition!
