Description

Dutch 'Persoonsbewijs' (Civil Identification Card). Introduced in July 1938. The Dutch 'Persoonsbewijs' was an identity card that was introduced by the Dutch secretaries general at the insistence of the German occupying forces during the Second World War. In April 1941, all Dutch people aged fifteen and older were required to hold an identity card. This ID-card belonged to a woman from the city Nijmegen and was issued to her on 15 July 1941. It comes together with 4 sheets of partly used wartime ration stamps. Nice original example in good used condition!
