US 101st Airborne Wool Greatcoat. The Greatcoat belonged to the standard equipment of every soldier. The greatcoat could be worn in cold weather or rain and all other conceivable situations. Heavy quality brown woolen construction greatcoat has two rows of three front closure buttons. Inside the lining is nice tag which is dated 1943, the greatcoat is a size '38L'. There is one small repair, otherwise the greatcoat is in very good condition, see photos. A U.S. 101st Airborne Division Patch is nicely machine sewn to the wearer's left shoulder. Great textbook original US greatcoat in very good condition, this would make a great Ardennes 1944 Airborne display!
