Dutch Army Black Leather Ankle Boots

Nice pair of Dutch Army black leather lace-up ankle boots. Dutch soldiers were often asked to bring their own black leather lace-up ankle boots. This is due to material shortages in the Dutch army. This however is a rare original pair of textbook original pre-war Dutch Army issue boots. The boots are having 8 eyelets to close the laces, the boots are complete with a pair of most likely replaced shoelaces. The boots are showing the expected period use and wear but are in overall very good condition, see photos. The size is approximately a European size 43, the boots are not visible marked or dated. This pair would display great on a Dutch combat uniform. Hard to find pair of original Dutch Army issue low boots!
