'Der Stahlhelmbund' Visor Cap

'N.S. Deutscher Frontkämpfer-Bund (Stahlhelm)' Visor Cap (Schirmmütze). 'Der Stahlhelmbund' was conceived as a national veterans' organization by 'Franz Seldte' in November 1918. The privatly purchased type field grey wool cap is having dark-green piping, the cap is complete with its original early political type cap-eagle and both its cocardes. The cap is having a black patent leather chinstrap. The cap is lined with blue-coloured oilcloth and is maker marked by the compay 'Alter Art, Mützen Manufaktur' from Bonn. The sweatband is in very good condition, the wearer's initial 'C' is attached to the sweatband. The cap is approximately a size '57/58'. There is some minor moth damage, see photos. Nice original cap in good condition!
