Dutch M27 Combat Helmet - black overpaint

Dutch M27 Combat Helmet (Stalen Helm Model 27). The interior of the helmet is a leather liner complete with felt protection and original liner-cord. The liner is nicely maker marked and dated 'CM1932' (Centraal-Magazijn). A unique label with the soldier's service-number is sewn on one of the felt protection pads. The helmet has been period overpainted in black, most likely for reissue at the airraid (LBD) or another civillian organisation. There are some normal damages and scratches caused by usage. The helmet is complete with its original chinstrap. Nice original Dutch helmet in good used condition!
