Hooked guard, birdhead pommel, blue finish blade, and contoured wooden grips.The blade is clean, with a typical, Japanese style partial sharpening to the cutting edge, and a few spots of runner-wear to the finish.Mix of blue and patina finish to the guard and pommel, original finish wooden grips, with minimal marring to the surface, and staining and toning from age and use.Dent free steel scabbard with a mix of blue and steel patina finish. The blade sticks a bit in the scabbard.
