NSB 'Strijd Offer' Plaque

NSB 'Strijd Offer' (Battle Sacrifice) Table Medal or Plaque. This table-medal was awarded to relatives in memory of deceased NSB members. The table-medal shows the enamelled 'Strijd Offer' badge in the center of a laurel wreath with mourning ribbon with the text 'STRIJD OFFER'. Underneath is space for engraving the name of the deceased/fallen NSB member. The table medal is marked 'CA' which is the signature of the designer 'Chris Agterberg'. The plaque is sized approximately 7 x 5,5 cms. The enamel badge has been riveted to the plaque, the badge shows some regular wear and patina but has a totally undamaged, enamelled surface. Rare original plaque!
