Reichsbahn Honor Plaque

'Reichsbahn' (DRB) Honor Plaque (Plakette) given to a DRB employee named 'Otto Eggert' for his 25th anniversary as a Locomotive (train) driver. 'Deutsche Reichsbahn' was the name of the German national railway, from 1937 it was organized as the DRB. The heavy quality plaque is stamped from a non-magnetic metal sheet having a nice gold toned finish. The plaque is mounted in a wooden frame and measures approximately 29,5 x 27,5 cms. A label from the manufacturer is pasted on the back of the frame being the company 'Richard Müncheberg Plaketten' from Berlin-Steglitz. Decorative original item!
