Japanese WWII Pre-1940 Order of the Rising Sun 7th Class, Cased

Original period manufacture. Silver medal with enameling on each side of the planchet, a post 1940 regulation change ordered the enameling to only appear on the obverse. Original ribbon, small chip in the enamel on the reverse, very minor enamel cracking to the obverse. Original case of issue, missing the lock mechanism on the leading edge of the lid
