US Indian Wars 45-70 McKeever Pouch, Watervliet Arsenal

Original era manufacture. All black leather construction, with two rows of 10 canvas loops for 45-70 cartridges. With the brass escutcheon on the closure strap, and swell on the right side for the rifle tool.Clear Arsenal markings on reverse at the base of the securing strap, and very clear US in an oval on the front side of the pouch. A very sound pouch overall, no issues beyond light age and wear.
