Original era manufacture. Well made Weyersburg sword with an etched retailers name on the reverse of the blade. The polished steel blade measures 33 inches in length and runs fairly straight and true. Etched panels bearing the Bavarian 'In Treue Fest' motto on each side. Brass single branch guard with a decorative cup langet, black fishskin wrapped grip bound with triple strand wire. Complete leather bodied scabbard with a clean break about 2/3rds down it's length.
