Original period manufacture. Chromed steel blade measuring 31 inches in length, running straight and true. No corrosion issues to the surface, ricasso has a maker mark of Horster with the original leather bumper in place by the guard.Ornate fire gilded cast brass grip with a lion head pommel, fitted with red glass eyes. Black plastic wrapped grip, bound with triple strand wire.Most of the original black paint remains on the scabbard body, with both throat screws present. Single suspension loop, overall a very nice quality sword in excellent condition.
