German WWII Heer Officers Sword, Holler Mfg, Number 3 Pattern

Original period manufacture. Chrome finished blade measuring 32.5 inches in length, running straight and true. Very bright finish with no corrosion issues. Gilded brass guard with hand engraved decoration to include the Heer pattern eagle on the obverse langet. Black composition wrapped grip bound with triple strand wire, missing one of the straight wire strands. On the obverse grip there is a thin strip of material missing just below the pommel. Black finished scabbard with both throat screws present, no dents or corrosion issues.
