WW1 1914-15 TrioTo- 55749.PTE.A.WRIGHT.19-CAN.INFPrivate Wight was killed in action in France & Flanders on the morning of the 8th of August 1918 serving with the 19th battalion of the Canadian Infantry & is buried in Villers-Bretonneux military cemetery. He was a native of Prudhoe, Northumberland & has 54 pages of service documents than can freely be downloaded from the Canadian archives website.EF & Complete with an original letter of condolence to his father from the colonel commanding the battalion & the forwarding letter for the recipients memorial cross that is sadly missing from the group.
