He served with the battalion on the North West Frontier 1930-31 & with the B.E.F in 1940. He was awarded his LS&GC in army order 142 of 1942 & died in service at home 6-3-1946 as a C.S.MJR with the 1st battalion & is buried in Church Stretton.NEF & Complete with medal roll details & other basic research
