WW1 Pair with the lid of the original box of issueTo- 200997.SJT.W.A.ASHCROFT.TANK.CORPSWilliam.A.Ashcroft from Wigan originally enlisted in to the Machine Gun Corps but first served overseas with the Tank Corps. He was wounded in France 31-10-1918 whilst serving with the 5th battalion of the Tank corps and this was reported in the war office casualty list dated 8-11-1918. He was discharged in March 1919 & returned to his home town of Wigan.NEF/EF & Complete with MIC & Casualty details
