WH (Heer) Summer Field Blouse

WH (Heer) Cotton Summer Field Blouse (Sommer Feldbluse). The field blouse is made of captured Russian cotton cloth, the tunic has four, pleated, pockets and field-grey finished, pebbled metal buttons. There is a six-button front closure using the same type of buttons. There is a dark-green woolen lay flat collar with a metal hook and loop neck closure. The field blouse is complete with a flat-wire woven breast eagle which is machine-sewn to the tunic, the eagle has been reapplied once. A pair of Infantry officer's collar tabs is nicely hand-sewn to the collar. The tunic has buttons and loops for slip-on shoulder boards, the tunic comes with an original pair of shoulder-boards, the shoulder-boards are having the white branch colour (Truppenfarbe) and are both having two pips attached as intended for a 'Hauptmann der Infanterie'. There are loops to the wearer's left breast-pocket to attach various medals, a ribbon for the Eastern Peoples Award 2nd Class is sewn through one of the buttonholes. The interior of the tunic is unlined. The field blouse is in overall good, only slightly worn, condition. Great original summer field blouse!
