Kriegsmarine Uniform Grouping. The grouping is consisting of a tunic (Collani) including medals/badges, donald-duck cap (Tellermütze) and a collar dickie (Wechselkragen). All parts nicely named to Kriegsmarine Sailor 'Kümmerow'. The donald duck cap is complete with a 'Kriegsmarine' cap-tally, executed in golden-yellow ie. bright-yellow flat-wire thread in 'BeVo' like weave-pattern. The donald duck cap is size '56' marked and complete with name tag 'Kümmerow', the cap-eagle and cocarde are regrettably missing. The tunic is in good condition and complete with a pair of original period re-applied collar-tabs and a nicely hand-sewn breast-eagle. To the wearer's left sleeve are various insignia nicely hand-sewn indicating that this sailor was an 'Obergefreiter' and 'Bootsman' (Boatswain) with a Smaller Vessel Sea Target and Anti-Aircraft Gun Chief career (Geschützführer für Seeziel und Flakartillerie kleiner Fahrzeuge). The interiour of the tunic shows some size markings and a name tag with his name. Attached to the breast are a Black Wound Badge (Verwundeten Abzeichen in Schwarz) and a nice Kriegsmarine Minesweeper War Badge (Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boot-Jagd und Sicherungsverbände). The badge is nicely maker marked with 'R.K.' indicating production by the company of 'Rudolf A. Karneth & Söhne' in Gablonz an der Neiße. The collar dickie is complete with his name-tag as well. This grouping was never before part of a collection and was recently found in a house cleaning in Germany. Great original Kriegsmarine uniform grouping!
