Miniature Infantry Assault Badge in Silver (Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber). The Infantry Assault Badge in silver was introduced on 20 December 1939 by Generaloberst 'Walther von Brauchitsch', for award to all ranks of non-motorized, Infantry and Mountain Infantry units who participated in three different assaults on three different days. The miniature badge is a 16mm version, executed in tombak (Buntmetall), showing great detail. The miniature still retains most of its original silver finish. The miniature is not visible maker marked. Nice original miniature in very good condition!
