Dutch East Indies Souvernir Grouping. The gouping is consisting of a carved wooden tobacco box 'groeten uit Java' (Greetings from Java), a Dutch 'Je Maintiendrai' Sleeve Shield, a Dutch 'Eerste Divisie '7 December' Sleeve Shield, Dutch Cap Badge (without prongs), Japanese Collar tab, TNI (Tentara Nasional Indonesia) Collar Tab and Garuda Pancasila badge. The green coloured TNI collar tab is made of a WW2 German Luftwaffe FLAK collar tab. These are souvernirs from a Dutch Army Veteran who served in the army in the period from 1945/1949 during the military campaigns held by The Royal Netherlands East Indies Army (KNIL) in 1947 and 1948 to re-establish Dutch control of Indonesia.
