'Turkistan' Volunteer Sleeve Shield

Nice printed Sleeve Shield intended for a member within the 'Turkistan Legion' (Ärmelabzeichen). This is the third pattern sleeve shield as introduced in mid-1944, these were worn by members within the Turkistan Legion. The shield is showing an in white, blue, yellow and green printed mosque dome in an oval. 'Turkistan' is printed on the mosque, above the mosque in yellow the script: 'Tenri biz menen!', (God with Us!). The shield is in good unissued condition, showing some small staining and traces of age. A nice original piece of Eastern volunteer insignia!
