Personal Suitcase of Oberleutnant 'Emil Becker' who was wounded in action and died on 1 May 1944 in a Lazarett in Wesenberg (Rakvere, Estonia). His suitcase with personal belongings was sent home to wife, the original wooden address label is still present. The wooden suitcase is marked with the Feldpost-number of his unit '45490' which belonged to the 'Regimentsstab u. Stabskompanie Grenadier-Regiment 157'. The wooden suitcase measures approximately 62 x 42 x 21 cms, the handle is broken. An original period photo of his grave is included with the group as well. Interesting piece of history!
