WH (Heer) Zeltbahn 31 - 4 panels

Late war Wehrmacht M31 Shelter Quarter (Zeltbahn 31). The shelter quarter served buttoned together to form a four-man tent (or larger), it could also be worn as a poncho to give protection against rain, and it served as camouflage during a battle. It is made of tightly woven cotton drill with the 'splitter pattern' camouflage, which showed light colors on one side and dark colors on the other. This example is still showing bright colours. This is a late war example, constructed from 4 panels instead of 2. The Zeltbahn is complete with most of its original Italian type brown coloured dish-buttons. The Zeltbahn is nicely maker marked with RB.Nr.'0/0156/0047'. It is showing some staining and small damages caused by usage, see photos. Nice original late war variant Zeltbahn in good used condition!
