WH (Heer/Waffen-SS) Canvas Gaiters

Wehrmacht (Heer/Waffen-SS) Canvas Gaiters (Gamaschen). As a result of concerns about leather shortages regulations in early 1940 prescribed the lace-up ankle boots for wear in the field and additional regulations in August 1940, introduced new canvas gaiters to be worn with the lace-up ankle boots. Nice pair of gaiters, made of a grey-green canvas with light-brown leather straps and black leather re-inforcement. The gaiters are nicely RB.Nr. marked. The metal buckles are slightly rusted. Nice original pair in good used condition!
