Tan coloured MG 34/42 50 Round Drum Magazine

MG34 or MG42 50 Round Drum Magazine (Gurttrommel 34). The drum was capable of carrying a 50 round ammunition belt and could be mounted on the machinegun. The drum retains most of its original late war tan coloured camouflage overpaint and shows some surface rust andscratches caused by usage. The box is nicely maker marked 'ddf' indicating production by the 'Lohmann-Werke AG' from Bielefeld. Nice example in very good condition!
