Rare original Third Reich Diplomatic Visor Cap

Rare original Third Reich Diplomatic Visor Cap (Schirmmütze für Staatsbeamte). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is a nice privately purchased Third Reich Diplomatic Visor Cap, complete with celluloid manufacturer's sweat-diamond ('Raute'), maker marked by the famous 'Erel' company, this is however very hard to read. The cap is not visible size marked. The Visor cap is piped with silver piping. The leather sweatband is in heavily used and partly damaged condition, see photos. The cap is complete with its original hand-embroidered typical large-sized diplomatic cap-eagle and cocarde. The cap is in heavily worn condition. Rare original great looking diplomatic visor cap!
