Social Welfare Medal Award Document

This is a Social Welfare Medal Award Document (Medaille für Deutsche Volkspflege Urkunde). On 1 May 1939, Hitler introduced a series of four Social Welfare awards to replace the earlier DRK (Deutsche Rotes Kreuz) awards. This award document was awarded to dem DRk-Vorhelfer 'Friedrich Meier' at Barkhausen on 11 December 1940. The DIN-A4 sized award document has regrettably been folded multiple times, see scans. The document shows the facsimile signatures of Adolf Hitler and Otto Meissner and there's a beautiful large-sized embossed logo in the paper. Nice large-sized award document!
