Kriegsmarine M31 Bread Bag Strap (Brotbeutelriemen). The shoulder strap was rarely worn during the war. The strap was put to other uses like putting it around the steel helmet to hold camouflage material. Nice green coloured canvas construction breadbag strap with blackened leather reinforced steel friction clips to either end. The strap is nicely maker marked and dated 1940. This is a typical wider type strap as often used by Kriegsmarine troops. Nice original example in very good condition!
