Rare 'SS-VT Germania' Portrait Photograph

This is a rare SS-Verfügungstruppe, also known as 'SS-VT', portrait photograph. Nice portrait showing an SS-VT Rottenführer wearing his SS-VT tunic and SS-VT overseas cap. An 'SS 2' collar tab is clearly visible indicating that he was a member in the'SS Verfügungstruppe Standarte 2 Germania'.The shoulder strap is showing the distinctive embroidered 'G' of 'Germania', piped with silver wire and black threads. The photograph measures approximately 8,5 x 14 cms in size. 'February 1940' is written on the back. Nice original portrait photo!
