Waffen-SS Sleeve Eagle

Waffen-SS RZM-pattern sleeve-eagle (Ärmeladler). This is an early style RZM-pattern machine-embroidered sleeve eagle. The eagle is nicely machine-embroidered in silver-grey linnen on a black woolen background. This is the type of eagle with the thin beak. These arm-eagles were to be used on the various SS tunics. This example is in clearly used and tunic removed condition, it was taken as a souvernir by an American GI. This would be a nice addition to an (SS) insignia collection. Please note, this is not one of the late war left-overs found in Dachau but a truly worn original example. Hard to find original piece!
