Luftwaffe Tropical Shorts

Luftwaffe Tropical Shorts (kurze Tropenhose). With the impending German entrance into the North African campaign, tropical uniforms and equipment were quickly developed and issued in time for 'Deutsches Afrika Korps'. This is a pair of light weight, tan coloured, cotton construction Luftwaffe shorts. The horizontal waistband has a tunnel loop which houses a built-in cotton belt and aluminum roller-buckle. The shorts are nicely size marked and 'Litzmannstadt' marked. The shorts are in very good unissued condition showing only minimal traces of years of storage, there is one minor stain, see photos. Nice original Luftwaffe tropical shorts in very good condition!
