Panzer Postcard by Gottfried Klein

This is a nice original period color propaganda-postcard (Propaganda-Postkarte) showing a tank and an eagle with swastika. This artistic postcard was designed by the famous Gottfried Klein and was published by 'Verlag Heinrich Hoffmann' from Munich. The postcard measures approximately 15 x 10,5 cms. The card has been described on the back and is in sent condition. The card has been sent on 1 september 1943 from a field hospital at the eastern front. The message written on the backside: 'Lieber ..., An der Schwelle des 5. Kriegsjahres sendet Dir aus einem Kriegslazarett im Osten herzliche Grüße und ein kräftiges Heil Hitler! Dein Kamerad Simon.' There's a bit of damage from two small staples. Rare and hard to find original postcard!
