NSDAP Political Leader's Visor Cap

NSDAP Ortsgruppe Level Political Leader's Visor Cap (Schirmmütze für Politische Leiter der Ortsgruppenleitung). In January 1934 the NSDAP introduced a visor cap, based on the army style visor cap. The NSDAP was structured in four ascending levels of government, consisting of the 'Ortsgruppenleitung,' the 'Kreisleitung,' the 'Gauleitung,' and the 'Reichsleitung,' with each group being distinguished by a specific colour of piping. This is a nice quality issue brown coloured Political Leader's Visor Cap, the cap is piped in the blue 'Waffenfarbe' indicating a political leader in the Ortsgruppe Level. The interior of the cap is lined in off-white rayon. The diamond shaped celluloid sweat-shield is not visible maker marked, it shows a carton tag which is size '54' marked. The brown coloured simulated leather sweatband is in good used condition with some small damages, there is a nice RZM tag beneath the sweatband. The cap is complete with its original gold finished political cap-eagle and cocarde. The pet is having a gold coloured chinstrap. The cap shows normal traces of usage and wear with only some small moth-nips to the piping. Nice original political leader's visor cap in good condition!
