WH (Heer) Tropical Shorts

WH (Heer) Tropical Shorts (kurze Tropenhose). With the impending German entrance into the North African campaign, tropical uniforms and equipment were quickly developed and issued in time for 'Deutsches Afrika Korps'. This is a pair of light weight, olive/khaki green, cotton construction shorts. The horizontal waistband has a tunnel loop which houses a built-in olive/khaki cotton belt. The shorts are nicely size marked and RB.Nr. marked. The carton manufacturer's label is still present indicating production by the company of 'Müller & Koch' from Bielefeld. The shorts are in very good unissued condition showing only minimal traces of years of storage, see photos. Nice original tropical shorts!
