WH (Heer) M40 Trousers

WH (Heer) M40 straight legged combat field pants (M40 Hose für Mannschaften). Originally the long pants were produced in stone grey fabric until 1940 when regulations dictated that newly produced long pants be constructed in field-grey fabric. The trousers are made of the standard Wehrmacht field-grey wool. The trousers have two, diagonally angled, front pockets and a small watch pocket. A strap and metal buckle is sewn on the back for tightening. The trousers are nicely maker marked by the company 'Eisenhut & Weitzel', size marked and dated 'M41' (1941). The trousers are in very good, only slightly worn, condition. I couldn't find any (moth)damages, see photos. This would make a nice match with a slightly worn jacket and would make a great display. Original Wehrmacht trousers are very hard to find. Nice original pair of M40 trousers in perfect condition!
