Luftwaffe Flight Log Book

Luftwaffe Flight Log Book of 'Rudi Ulmer' (Flugbuch). The log book is dated 27 November 1940 and contains entries untill 4 August 1942. Rudi Ulmer started in the rank of 'Gefreiter' and was promoted to 'Unteroffizier'. There are 258 flight entries of which 16 registered as enemy flights 'Feindflug', bombing Stalino (Donetsk) as part of the 7/K.G.27 (Kampfgeschwader 27). He has flown in a Ju86, Ju52, W34, FW58, He111 and the Do17z. On 3 Juli 1942 he was placed in the 'Transportstaffel' of the '4.Fliegerkorps' and flew transport flights with fuel, wounded etc, mainly between Stalino and Charkow. Very interesting example!
