Waffen-SS Plane Tree Camouflage 'Zeltbahn'

Waffen-SS Plane Tree No.2/2 Pattern Shelter Quarter (Platanenmuster Zeltbahn). The Plane Tree camouflage pattern was originally developed in 1936 and was utilized by SS-VT personnel until a new Plane Tree pattern was developed in 1940. The new 1940 Plane Tree camouflage patterns was produced in six subtlety different models that were utilized through-out the war. This is an early-war example made of matching nicely lined-up plane tree patterns 2 & 2. The Zeltbahn has some small damages and repairs, one metal eyelet is missing and has been repaired, see photos. The Zeltbahn is complete with most of its original buttons. The Zeltbahn just shows regular wear and traces of usage. There are no visible markings. The Zeltbahn shows nice bright summer and autumn colours and different pieces of camouflage, even a small part of oakleaf camouflage has been used. Nice hard to find example in good used condition!
