WH FF33 Field Telephone Battery

Wehrmacht FF33 Field Telephone Battery (Batterie für Feldfernsprecher 33). Accurate intelligence and secure lines of communication are crucial elements to all armies in the field and during WWII each division in the German Army had an integral Signals unit. The Feldfernsprecher 33 was the standard issue field telephone used by the German military during WWII. The F33 field telephone was powered by a 1.5 volt dry cell battery. 11cm tall, 5.5cm square, carton construction, 1.5 volt dry cell battery. The battery is made by the Hamburger Batterie-Fabrik 'HABAFA', the battery is nicely WaA marked. It is in good used condition with normal traces of usage and age. Rare original field telephone battery, these are very hard to find!
