US 30/40 Krag, Brown Leather McKeever Cartridge Box, 1904

Original era manufacture. Brown russet leather cartridge pouch, with canvas loops for 20, 30-40 Krag or 30/06 1903 Rifle ammunition. The leather surface is sound showing light staining from age, but no scuffing or dry rot. Clear markings on one side with a 1904 date, and Rock Island Arsenal. Soldiers initials J.F.R. written on the inside of the pouch.
