US Indian Wars Era, Northern Pacific Railroad Completion Programme, 1883

Original era publication. Printed programme of the Grand Evening Concert, held at the Mechanics Pavilion, Apollo Club, San Francisco, with music provided by the band of the US 21st Infantry Regiment.Held on the 11th of September 1883, it celebrated the completion of the Northern Pacific Railroad. Printed on thin cardstock, it is quite sound, measures roughly 5x7 inches when closed. Light age and wear.  The 21st Infantry saw considerable service in the West during the latter years of the 19th Century. Arizona, Nez Pearce, Bannock Wars, Nebraska, Kansas.
